Duff Miller College also offers students the opportunity to sit their retakes as an external candidate. This means that the student can study in their own time and only come into the college to sit the exam. This would be most suited to those who are only a few marks off their desired grade.
To apply as an external student you will need to register at the college, bringing your UCI number (Unique Candidate Identifier) proof of identity (i.e. Driving License) as well as a passport photograph. You will also need to let the college know the specific board and the individual units that you wish to retake. GCSE retakes are in November and June A-level retakes are in January and June.
