Duff Miller Sixth Form College Easter Revision Programme

Helping Students Prepare for Their A-Level and GCSE Examinations

Duff Miller Sixth Form College has over 20 years’ experience of providing expert A-Level and GCSE Easter Revision tuition, helping students prepare for their summer examinations.

Easter Revision courses reinforce students’ subject knowledge at this vital stage of the school year. Students leave our leading London sixth form college with the tools, confidence and motivation they need to succeed.

These courses are designed to enhance students’ academic performance by focusing on the following:

  • Consolidating knowledge and understanding
  • Planning a successful approach to revision
  • Developing and sustaining confidence
  • Employing effective examination technique
  • Working out a personal revision programme for the run-up to the exams

All students receive a full set of sample examination papers with accompanying model answers. Throughout the course students are set practice exam questions which are marked with tutor commentary on how improvements can be made. Each course culminates in a practice examination.

Students attend for a 40-hour week for each full A-Level subject, or 20 hours for individual AS-Level or GCSE subjects.

We usually teach humanities such as English, History or Philosophy on a one-to-one tuition basis for slightly reduced hours, as we find this a more beneficial way of studying these subjects.

Study Options

Students can study an individual AS, A2 or GCSE subject intensively for 18 hours per week during either the mornings or afternoons. Students wanting to combine two subjects or revise for a full A-Level (AS and A2) can study for 36 hours per week during both the mornings and afternoons.
